Good morning and happy Friday my Texas Tundra crew! With T2S being shifted to October, we've moved Merustober to April. We've decided on the 3rd weekend, the 16th-19th. It's a bit of a change, but the weather should be about the same.

Expect the normal activities such as:

    Offroading
    Beer
    Good food
    Beer
    Hanging with the homies
    Camping
    Beer
    Beer
    Offroading

Don't you normally get tagged only after things get broken during the beer, beer, more beer and offroading?

Generally, yes. However, I am relatively good at reading a room and my audience. I'm fully aware of what is set to unfold, and every detention room needs a supervisor.

But will there be beer? :D
    Pardon my intrusion gents.

I just Googled Merus and hit on the Adventure Park. I assume this is your destination.
I get down to TX about 2-3 times per year typically. Sometimes fly, sometimes drive.
Would this be a good stopover point for camping (travel trailer) a night or two?
    Looks like beautiful scenery.
I'd probably test the turd gens mettle on some newbie trails. ;)

They will allow you to camp topside with your travel trailer.
Our group typically camps another 20ish minutes down into the canyon. The trail to the bottom is generally passable with a stockish 4x4, but no way in hell you could get a travel trailer down there!

We would love to have you, or anybody else that is interested!

Another 3rd genner to keep @SAGE63 occupied and rubber side down would great!

Dude, same. I'd really like to get a few things done prior. At the very least I need to pull the trigger on some solo octagons and fix my trash alignment. Would love to put on some new big meats and figure out a light(er) weight camp setup.

and take a leaf or two out of my bastard packs

I was recently advised the bypass for the normal drop in is complete and useable. Might he able to bring a trailer down now. Did you ever get slider measurements for a DC?

The weekend before Jambo used to be T2S. Now it's the one in October and Merus in it's place.
    The circle is completed.

No, unfortunately not. I did chat with a step side AC at the grocery store yesterday though:rofl:

If nothing else I'll roll around in the dirt and grab a bunch of measurements off of your truck if you make it!

I'm on the tentative list again. If the truck sells before then so be it, but I'd like to get rowdy with y'all at least once while I own this thing.

Id be glad to take the measurements you need prior if youd like. Just detail what youd have me do for your proposed design. Hell, might even be able to find some measurements from white knuckle or other fabbers

The bypass isn't really a bypass. It's easier, but not by much. It's way looser, not quite as steep, but a lot of narrow twists and turns. It's fucking beautiful at the bottom though.

If we could just link up our brains that would be great! Unfortunately I really need to see things in person and get my hands on them. Its just how my brain works.

Totally understandable, Ive been 3D printing recently and when someone else does the measuring I need to go back and do it myself. Once nuerolink is live well make it work!
