Any of you guys try the new Meguiars Ultimate Paste? I had longevity issues with the old here in FL and was wondering if the new version last longer and/or has a better finish.

I have never seen that at the auto parts stores. Live outside the Intracoastal,, I just use Nu Finish no buffing or rubbing and always after every wash use Bead Maker. Water, dirt, bugs, whatever else all washes away and water never stands it always beads and rolls off.

where do you purchase the paste?

I only use the Meguire's gold class paste and the Meguire's wash soap.
Get compliments on the high gloss mirror finish often. Some say kinda weird to see a reflection on white. Whatever, it works and I like it.

Good to know. I might have to try that. I use the gold class soap.

I use meguires liquid wax on my Tacoma, easy to apply and last long “for me” work from home and garage kept.

since the tundra is outside I know that wouldn’t be the same and probably want something a little better and would need to go back to a more conventional wax.

Thanks for the info, I’ll order some soon

Regular wax products do not last very long on a vehicle stored outside here in FL that's why I have only use synthetic waxes like FK1000. I have used the original UW and it looks good just did not last long.

Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax, is a synthetic, and should not suffer the longevity issues a natural carnuba wax would, especially in the Florida heat. There are more durable options out there in synthetics......Jescar UltraLock, Woflgang SIO2 Deep Gloss Sealant, and Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax to name a few.
