Received a bill from a Doctor that my wife has seen. It is for the uncovered insurance portion. The issue I have is that the Dates of services are 7/18 and 2/19; A year to 1.5 years ago. This is the first time receiving said bill.
Question: Is there any kind of time limitation as to when a provider can still bill someone? We are in Texas, rules may vary state to state.

I do not mind paying my bills but I am not even sure of the services at this point. :notsure:

I would contact your insurance company first and discuss the late arriving charges first. I am sure they know local laws. That is just crazy

Thats pretty nuts. Tough to validate that the services charged are accurate and were actually approved by her a year ago

I am in NY and they tried that bullshit on me.
I called them and said I need an itemized bill and not some balance bullshit.

    They dismissed it.

If it is a balanced owed then you can dispute it
