My initial entry to on line forums was back in the early 2000's, Pickup Trucks .com, had a nickname at work of Bambam as I would bang on the table when winning at poker. Subsequent forum sign ups , Bambam was always taken, so I morphed it to Bammer and it's stuck since as its not usually taken.

Couldn't think of one 20 years ago, so I looked up an internet random name creator. It gave me "Kung Pao Smurf." Used that for a while then just dropped all but the "Kung."

About 6 years ago now I went through a wildlife ranch in San Antonio, tried to feed an ostrich and it bit me. Been slightly obsessed with them ever since.

It's the name of my off shore boat - Pale Horse. Which is taken from a modified quote - "behold a pale horse, and death followed behind him". Seems like some cold shit for all the fish slaying we did. Sold that boat, and now have Pale Horse II
