ya. I can do it, but I only got weekends free matt. I'm doing Mike's shocks sometime this week here at work. but for shackle and shim I gotta do it at home. Alignment I can't do though. A few good shops here that know what they are doing, especially if you have certain specs.

Ummmmm.... guys... can we hit a trail soon? I went dirt biking on Saturday and the whole time all I was thinking about was how my truck would do on that trail. :facepalm:Matt, what's the status on your sliders?

No clue what is going on with my sliders. Waiting on a response to email and/or PM.
If we are going to do Lost Coast or something easy I'd be fine doing it without sliders. If you want to do moderate or hard, I'll probably sit out until I get my sliders.

It sounds like you are so busy, you don't even have weekends free. I would probably be looking to get it done on a Wednesday if was to do it in the Bay Area. Let me know if you have a good shop recommendation.
I'm going to call a few shops around me that advertise custom 4x4 experience.

For anyone how badly my wheels got chewed up from the Barney Riley Trail run, here you go. I think I need wider tires to protect the wheels.

honestly I like it. It shows you are using your truck. Give that rugged look even more :) But yeah maybe get some wider tires next time.

Two dents on the body... $2800
    Refinishing Pro Wheels... $500
Good times wheeling with buddies....... priceless.

20 years from now, you won't remember the little damage we got. You're going to remember all the great wheeling trips we took. ;)

The SCS pre-order goes until Nov 30th, so I'm going to spend the next 3 weeks arguing with myself about whether or not to get them. Am I just going to scrape them up just as bad?

One step at a time. If I order the wheels, I'll have 2-3 more months before delivery to decide on what tires to go with. That will be another tough decision, 295/70 or 35x12.5.

My wheels are getting scuffed up too, even with the wider tires. If you could get your pro wheels cleaned up enough to sell, I would get the SCS wheels. If not, just keep the Pro wheels and use them until they're thrashed. The SCS wheels on 35x12.5 or 295's would help but will still get some scuffs. Only it won't show as much as on the glossy Pro wheels. Or you can always go with NV's, they're probably going to be cheap as shit after black Friday. I bought mine last year I think it was $930 for 5 wheels to my door.

Since I'm dead-set on spending every dollar I have on this truck, I just ordered new bumpstops. Wheeler's superbumps for the front and Timbren active offroad for the rear.
My name is Matthew and I'm a Tundra mod addict.

lol! nice I think those will help out a lot since the stock suspension is really soft..
Ya even with the 35"s I have a few nicks, either way you'll find a way to bang em up.

When I swapped out the stock tires, I went to 275/70 and after the first trail run I wished I had gone bigger. I'm worried that if I go 295/70, I'll have the same feeling and wish that I had gone 35". But the weight of 35" and trying to stuff a spare under the bed...

I have been neglecting updating my build thread, maybe I'll work on it this weekend. In the meantime, here are a couple updates.

My son got me an axe for Christmas.

There is still mud caked underneath my truck from Prairie City and Hollister Hills, so I decided to do another quick spray down. Apparently I used my sliders more than I realized. @joonbug was worried that I hadn't scratched them and they still looked brand new.
