Looks amazing! I love real maple syrup. I've hunted a lot in Maine, and I love the smell around the commercial "sugar shacks". Lines all through the woods...from the trees into their tanks

    Hey Jim
    Syrup looks great!
Where is your BIL making his syrup? a few guys here in CT started tapping trees this week but they found only around 1.5% sugar. in a few weeks it should be up close to 3%. I'm waiting a couple more weeks for higher sugar content and to be sure my tap holes don't dry out for the late season sap runs.

My BIL's secret stash from last season. He is giving it away to get his empty bottles back for this season... he said in a couple weeks he would start again in N Wis. (CRANDON).
