Here it is.. the feature I believe will be the most valuable to every guy, or gal, that builds their truck up: build exports.

We've all been in a situation where we stumble upon a sick truck either here, or on Instagram, and you want to find out more. You're stuck with two options.

    a) Contact the owner and ask them some basic questions that I'm sure they've answered a hundred times for others (so they might not even respond to you due to being jaded).

    b) Track down their build thread to figure out what they've done to their rig as far as mods.

You try the first option but have no luck so you move onto the alternative. However, there's a problem. Their build thread is either disorganized, full of random spam to sift through, or missing details.

    There's a two-part solution to this.

    1) Tell that person to create a page on Buildprint so they can easily export their build info onto their forum build thread for others to easily access.

    2) You create your build page on Buildprint, too, because you don't want to be a hypocrite for the next person that tries to get info on your own rig.

In short, what it does is allow you to share your build information in an easy to read, easy to share, and easy to update way. Not only is it incredibly easy to share your info on the forum but you can also share it on reddit, your own personal site (HTML), or via plain text.

Enough talk though and see for yourself what this export functionality can do for you.

Here is my build page (take note of the "export build" button and click on it):
    http://buildprint.io/b/pluto

    Here is my build thread:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/pluto-spvrtans-semi-overland-build.3711/

All it takes is a simple copy/paste of the code generated by the export feature into your build thread on whatever forum, or social media platform, you desire.

Just added JSON export support in case you wanted the raw data for a personal app.

Thanks for the post Kris! That's a cool idea you created. Congratulations on starting something new like this. I joined and will be starting my build thread.
