Congrats and welcome aboard from Ohio!

Ditto on the rear sway… should have been my first upgrade.

Im old so love my chrome, but thinking about more lighting under the cab. Does that make me young again???

Well, happy wife, happy life and all that. LOL I personally 'wanted' a cement color as well, but the Toyota dealership had a gorgeous Voodoo Blue Tundra last year that my wife just absolutely LOVED the color of.

I told her "Don't get me wrong, I love the color. You know who else might love the color? Cops." LOL!

Beautiful truck! I came within a whisker of driving to South Florida (9 hours) for one before I located the one I bought which was only 3.5 hrs.

No doubt! I get the feeling a lot of buyers go 2nd or 3rd choice due to availability. I haven't really seen a color I don't like in a Tundra.

Welcome! I don’t mind a little chrome either. May color match the bumpers eventually but that’s probably as far as I’ll go. More of an improve performance over aesthetics person myself. Great color choice too, by the way!

Great Looking truck in the best color and you are correct, chrome is not a crime. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

It won't be much for now. Starting small with mats, shifter knob, rear sway and maybe running boards or steps.

    UPDATE:

The truck is nearing 500 miles and breaking in nicely. I'm loving the 6 speed trans and it drives/sounds a lot like my old '04 5.3 6spd suburban(which is a good thing!) I really think I can cross off the dual exhaust mod as I'm really happy with the throatiness as it sits with the single. The seats are still a little stiff but I think they're slowly breaking in. All in all, I am very pleased and think she will only get better with age. For now, it's outside to do the first hand wash. It's been raining for a week straight and the sun has finally popped out:bowdown:

    Welcome from FL.

Yes, get the TRD rear swaybar, Pedal Commander I have it and love it. As far as exhaust goes, I'd go with TRD Duel's. I have DirtyDeeds 8" SS single and for a little more $$ you can get the TRD Duel's "OEM" and get some cool points with your son. Floor mats Husky.

I disagree, sorta. I feel that mine hunts for gears all the time. But, I am an old man and drive like one. When I stick my foot in it, it is rock solid.

In my experience, the worst transmissions for “finding gears” have always been the 8-10 speeds. My wife’s ‘21 pilot is the most recent offender. My 6 speeds have always been very cooperative and behaved as expected.

You can totally eliminate all the gear hunting by learning and using the Sequential Shift mode. I can't remember the last time I drove my Tundra in 'D'

Got to love the long bed. The cabs are huge inside. We’ve traveled out of town and all our luggage fits behind our seats plenty of room. I also love the bench seat too.simple for me is way better. Love it. I’ll post a couple pics next week of my mods I’ve done. Nothing big but functional for the daily driving..
