    Figured I'd finally say hello.
Had a nicely built Tacoma with all sorts of off-road capable goodies on it that I sold to get a 4Runner (3rd row seats to fit more kids). Within a month, wife said she wanted the 4R to be the family vehicle so I couldn't risk it off-roading that much any more. :( Ended up in a FRS since I had a long commute for work and the 32mpg it averaged was nice. Plus the 6spd manual was fun. Kept having instances where I needed a truck to get something done around the house. Made do with a small trailer on the 4R for a couple years. Had been thinking for the last few months that I should sell the car and find a truck but every time I drove the car again, it was so much fun. Working from home full time going on 2 years so the mpg don't matter anymore.

But, I finally found a Tundra that seemed mostly taken care of at a price I could sort of tolerate. The Mesquite color isn't quite as cool as the Pyrite was on the Tacoma in my opinion but I still like it. Within a week I also found parts to buy from forum members to begin modding the truck I originally told myself I'd keep stock. It begins.

So, if you need parts for a Tacoma or FRS, I still have some laying around that I don't need. :D

Congrats on the truck. Forum and stock don't really go well together......

    LOL. You got that right.

It started that I was just on here looking for details like torque specs & stuff so I could change out fluids since this is a used truck with unknown history. Then I saw pics of other members' trucks and my wallet creaked open a few times...

Keep your trailer, most people who own a Tundra don't want to put anything in back that will scratch it and will pull a utility trailer.

yeah, I'm not one of those people. Dump a bucket load of gravel from the tractor into the bed of the truck is how I roll.

The trailer will still get used when I take the whole family camping in the 4Runner (7 people not fitting in the Tundra). The 3rd row seats in 4Runner means very very little cargo space in it. When it's just me and a couple of the kids going camping for a weekend, we'll take the Tundra and everything goes in the bed of the truck.
