Lowering my front by an inch

    hi all, I want to lower the front of my Tundra TRD PRO by an inch, has anyone here done this?

    I've never done it, but I've lowered older Honda Civics by cutting the coil springs a bit. I wouldn't do that to your high-dollar Pro suspension, though. One option would be to replace the fronts with a different coilover setup that attains the ride height you want. You could also try replacing the Pro coil springs with shorter length ones with the same spring rate as the Pros, but I don't know who would offer them. Eibach, maybe?

    I don't like the way it looks when the rear hangs low, since I actually bought my truck for traveling, camping, snowboarding, and long distance road trips, which is alway pack in the back. Also im ordering my custom A.R.E. Truck campershell, which already weighs around 200lbs plus all my gears.

    Have you looked into airbags or shackles to raise the rear instead?

    I mainly just wanted to see if the bilstein shock/coil is adjustable, im guessing the answer is not. I don't want to mess with additional parts since I bought the bumper to bumper warranty.

    As far as I know, the Pro coilovers aren't adjustable. Given your needs, though, I'd go with air bags or an add-a-leaf in the back as others suggested.

    They aren't adjustable. It would be easier and cheaper to raise the back an inch or so. I agree with you, I don't like the "level" look of the Pro, IMO is looks nose high. Look into an add a leaf since you're getting a cap, maybe air bags but they can be a hassle. Or maybe lift shackles. I think add a leaf is you best bet since you're adding the bed cap
