Hey guys. I'm the proud owner of a new TRD Pro. Been driving 4x4s for 30 years. Love it love it love it. Had it for a week now. Has close to 600 miles on it now. I've replaced engine and cabin filters with K&N but no mods yet. Looking at TRD accessories.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I live in North Texas. Someone explain how to post pics to a techno dinosaur and I'll throw up a pic or two. Might even include one of another toy, 67 chevelle SS 396. Question - why do I need the engine cover? Does it protect the hood paint from the heat? I bet you would get more engine sounds without it. And that engine really sounds sweet when you get on it.

Congrats on the Pro - I'd love one but simply can't justify the $$.

Just a side note though, while i love K&N air filters and CAIs... i'll never touch their oil filters again. I had one on my camaro and noticed a small patch of oil under my car as i backed out of the garage. Searched high and low for the leak - looking in all the wrong places because not for one minute did i think it would leak from the bottom of the filter. Turns out they'd burnt through the can when they spot welded the nut to the base... it wouldn't leak until it was under pressure but could have been potentially very expensive.

AWESOME!!! In tradition since the TRD Pro was released, we have a jump thread somewhere. Need a picture with all the wheels off the ground...even if it is only a couple inches.

Just kidding....don't go mob your new truck. Toyota owners have a certain IQ level to maintain.

Glad you're enjoying the new ride. Pretty bad ass factory trucks.
