I bought the black badge overlays and they have held up great.

Love my OEM black overlays. Still look just as good as the day I bought them almost 3 years ago. Found a used set of TRD PRO wheels and love the look.

I plasti-dipped the one emblem I had... it’s held up great and was inexpensive.

I used the overlays and they are holding up pretty well. BUT, the one that overlays the 5.7 badge or in your case the Platinum made it look like a black brick so I pulled the emblem entirely. Basically, you would have to be a foot from the truck to even be able to read it so IMO it looked stupid. You may want to consider OEM on that one if you’re planning to black it out.

    I’m in Oregon.

the best deal I found on sandblast/powdercoat was $100 per wheel.

I purchased a set of fresh take offs and got them done (took the shop several weeks) while I continued driving. Now I need to sell my originals, and that should offset my costs.
