What is the most cost effective way to get rid of all the Chrome on my 2013 Toyota Tundra Platinum. I can find almost everything but the dang bumpers in black. What would my best options be for the bumpers.

Color match them. You could have a shop paint them or do it yourself. I use the duplicolor color match spray paint and that works good .

Plastidip is the easiest and one of the cheapest ways. Its quick. Its removable.

I’m not sure whether to like it or hate it. Let me reflect on that for a while.

Easiest is to just buy black.
Cheapest is to paint or plasti-dip.
You can also have your chrome color matched to your truck.

If you have patience, you can find someone with black who wants chrome instead...and trade.

Or just buy some bad ass aftermarket bumpers!

This is in the 2nd gen forum.

It's also possible to swap front bumpers from chrome to plastic. There's a thread on one of the other Tundra forums about it.

In addition to the bumper you'll need to replace the supports and fender liners. It's not too difficult, I swapped on my old truck but don't remember the parts list.

The rear bumper can also be swapped with the sport package bumper, but also requires changing the OE tow hitch as it won't fit with that.
