First off, I know I know, its Rough Country.

I haven't really found any options in the 4" range. My concern is the front using strut spacers though rather than coils. 3/1 lift just doesnt seem like enough to me and my wife will HATE getting in my truck with a 6" lift.

Drawbacks or other options that you guys can suggest?

What size of tires are you planning on, I'm assuming >35"?

I'm honestly not sure. I just bought 275/70's so I take it they would look stupid on a 4" lift? haha

It'll look like your truck skipped leg day. Most guys only go 4" if they're going to run 35-37" tires, most guys on here with 295/70's or 35's run a 3/1 lift with replacement coilovers. With 275/70's it'd look best with Bilstein 5100's IMO.

Thanks Zach, yeah I'm running a 2.5" level up front right now and it just isn't as high as I'd like. Just trying to avoid wasting any more money. Just seems like adding another .5" up front and 1" out back is going to change it that much

I feel ya man, that's why I'm going straight to the Boss 3/1 here within the next few months. Mine's stock at this time. Maybe it's just me, but if you look at the before and after pics of @matluth's pickup, there seems to be quite a difference between when he had spacers and the coilovers he has now (part of that may be different rims and flares in addition to changing out the front spacer).

Fabtec , they have multiple 4" lifts, but let me warn you...they are pricey.

I wouldn't do a 4" lift if I wasn't doing 34.5 or 35" tires. I'm actually attracted to a 4-5" lift for some reason also. I'll never do much off-roaring in my Tundra, it would be for the look. I ordered everything for a 3/1 lift with Method 18s, and 285/70/18s and cancelled at the last minute because I'm not sure which way I want to go.

Zach, You are correct. My OME was advertised at 2.5" lift. That was conservative. Definitely 3". You don't really know until everything is bolted on. I have a lot of space between the top of my tires and the fender. My flares are maybe 1/16 " thick around the fender lip. My bumper is slightly over 4"s above my CO workers 07 stock bumper. Additional height with STT's. The Boss is a great value, especially with forum discount.

You get what you pay for. A good suspension lift will do far more than anything this can provide.

Yeah, haha. Joey from SDHQ just gave me some pricing on a Fabtec kit. They're more than I expected

Had a Fabtec on my Tacoma. Decent kit. Got the dirt logic coilovers/shocks with it and was not happy with them. Way too stiff. Lower front bushings failed. Coilovers seized so i couldn't adjust.

Have to cut the cross-member. Wouldn't do that again in my opinion.
