Yes. I have the StainlessWorks LTHs and a modified version of their Redline exhaust that was added later. Before getting their catback system I had the headers with the stock "Y" dual in single out and it was loud even outside WOT.

Zero drone. Honestly I could stand it to be a little louder. Eventually I'll remove the TRD muffler and swap in dual Flowmaster FlowFX and an H pipe. The TRD catback I have is a single in dual out.
But again unless you have a 4.7L and find the unobtanium first gen TRD catback in a junkyard or already have it on a first gen, we're comparing apples to oranges.

If going that route, get his dual 20" mufflers and resonators.
I have his 16" mufflers with resonators and long tubes on my other 4.7L first gen. It's a little loud. But he had louder (8" and 12") haha.
Also in my experience, his system takes around a month or two to break-in. Prior to that, it did drone at a certain RPM. Not anymore though.

Well his header option seems pretty solid and i trust his work

regarding his mufflers, and the tone they create, thats where im trying to switch it up. To me, they are to deep and too aggressive. Regardless of loud or quite, its the tone that im not a fan of
thats why im asking possibly dumb questions
    So im considering many options.

@ProperOne Depending on the LTH set up tone is just as much a problem as loudness.

Most LTHs replace the stock quad cats with dual racing cats or flat out delete the cats so you're getting less sound absorption upfront.

Longer tubes also means the emanation point of the sound gets push back beneath the driver past the engine bay and firewall.

Mine picked up a rasp I didn't care for on both the LTH+Stock "Y" set up and the LTH+SW Catback set up. On the latter the mufflers sat too far back so the naked tubes below the the cab picked up additional loudness and tone.

    YMMV

the vision that DD shared, he builds the mid pipe with factory cats. So thats handled. And i like that approach. Only down fall unless you wana run aftermarket, you gota cut ya cats out and ship them to him

so LTH to mid pipe is complete and not in question

catback is where im tryin to source a tone that is not to rough.
