Tried searching several different ways and didn't find a long term tire review thread on much of anything.
Find miscellaneous mentions here and there, but nothing stood out. Everyone knows BFG, Nitto, and the like, but what about the non big name tires?

Venom Power, Landspider, Prinx, those brands that don't treat your bank account like it's loaded with Tannerite.

I have Landspiders on my 17' and about 25k miles on them. Can give the good and bad feedback on them just wanted a searchable thread that anyone could find.

Running the Landspider Wildtraxx RT in a 33x12.50-R20 in a 12 ply.

Its a stiffer tire that has held up well to towing heavy loads, great dry and sand traction, medium wet traction, untested on snow and ice so far. Road noise is acceptable but not quiet.

She'll go 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene
All the 'off brand' tires that I have ever owned have been terrible for longevity, even after rotating and balancing them excessively (which costs a lot). I think 30,000 miles was the most I ever got out of off-brand tires, they were PepBoys 'Dakotas' and they were terrible in all conditions. They looked aggressive but they were garbage.

A 12 ply? Shit here I was thinking my 8 ply’s were overkill.

I’ve got some Thunderer Ranger ATRs. Same tire as the Americus Rugged ATR. 285/75/16 in LT load E rated. Paid about $180 a tire. They were quiet and smooth when I bought them. Starting to get some low volume howl to them now with about 11k miles on them. I might be under inflating them, or the alignment isn’t dialed in right. Some mild cupping or feathering of the tread noted. At this point, I wouldn’t buy another set of them or recommend them for a daily driver. They have been good off road (very limited). Good in the wet. Look really good. Had one go flat and ruin its sidewall due to the tire shop leaving my old crusty valve stems on there. They replaced it for me.

Yep, 12 ply. They're a tad rough for the forst few miles, i.e. bit of a vibration, but once they get a little heat in rhem they smooth right out. Only feel it at 65-70mph for about 2-3 miles. I occasionally help out at work by pulling an equipment trailer and I have had it as heavy as 13,000lbs, I keep 60psi in them and it handles the weight like a champ.

Nice looking tire, curious what air pressure you run them at? E & F rated tires need higher pressures to wear correctly and avoid cupping and deformation wear. From my own experience, E's do pretty well at 40-45 psi.

I run them just below that, 38psi or so when not towing. Need to pump them up a little more. The door tag has such low recommended pressure for the P rated factory tires that the calculator for E rated spits out really low numbers too

I put a set of Cooper AT3 on my 07 CM in Dec of 2023. Right now they are sitting at about 20,000 miles on them, with religious rotation, but I gotta tell ya that frankly the tread doesn't look that great anymore. I always check for proper inflation, but they don't look like they'll make it another year. Pretty disappointed frankly.

Cooper is a big brand tire though. OP creates this thread to discuss those of us cheap asses that buy off-brand tires cause we want the ones that look cool, but don’t wanna spend the bread on the latest wildpeaks or ridgies or whatever

For load e I run 36 cold. After warmed up they are at 40psi. Wear pattern is good after 12k miles on them. If towing heavy just bump up the pressure. Ride is stiffer but a good compromise and less flat tires from nails and such.

Pumped mine up to 40psi. I’ll see how they do

Thank you @KNABORES , you got the intent of the post. Sometimes it isnt being cheap it is what you can afford. I just wanted a post out there for all to see with options in it that didnt sctream Toyo Nitto BF Freekin G every other post when there is an abundance of other brands out there for the reviewing.

For what it would const for I Toyo Open Country 33x12.50R20, I can buy 2 of the Landspider tires. The kicker is the Toyo is an 8 ply vs the 12 ply Landspider. My brain equates it to the less I spend on a decent tire, the more I have to spend on other goodies for the truck.
