I was annoyed with the flimsiness of how both license plates were fastened to the Tundra from factory, so I fixed it. Here's how if anyone else wants to:
    • For the rear, I bought Dorman license plate fasteners. I removed the old license plate, and drilled out the factory holes little by little until the fasteners fit super tightly (nearly broke by thumb pressing them in) and then I used the screws that come with the kit to fasten the license plate in frame to the bumper. As the screw goes in the fastener, it expands into the hole so itll never come out. Lots of room for dirty jokes here. Anyway, once I fastened it, I pushed the bottom of the frame into that space at the bottom and it squeezed right in. Very secure
    • For the front, I ditched the crappy, bulky OEM bracket and bought a very slim and simple one on eBay, item number 151025487801. I used the factory mounting holes and screws to mount the bracket initially, and then used two more screws on either side of the bracket in the middle to get it really secure. I screwed my license plate and frame on there with all 4 screws and it works really good. Much more solid than the OEM one. Also, the OEM one wouldn't let me use the dealership license frame with it because it bent it in, this bracket is much slimmer on all sides so the frame goes right over it.
