Has anyone installed a license plate backup camera? How do they work? Did you go wireless or not? Trying to decide between that kind or the one that goes in the truck bed handle.

I have experience with a couple different wireless ones. They are junk. Constantly cuts out.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has swapped the tailgate handle of a Tundra without the backup camera with one that has the camera. If so, what is required to make that conversion? I have an aftermarket 7" screen for my radio already... Assuming it's compatible I would imagine its just running wires?

I just posted up on this and got a great response on the complete kit for $400 ( camera and monitor) and all plug and play. Waiting for that Brown Truck to start the next surgery.

Find my post..... they have about 5 left.
