I have a 2010 tundra double cab sr5 and I was wanting to level it out and down the road put bigger tires on it. I have read about leveling kits and the bilstein 5100 shock. I live in MT and do drive in the mountains and on some rough roads. Not rock crawling or anything that extreme, but some rougher terrain hunting at times. Looking for recommendations?

Welcome. The 5100 is going to give you a much better feel over stock and more so over a spacer lift. One thing to consider is the install cost, the 5100 reuses the stock coil which can be costly if you're having a shop do the install. A complete assembled coilover may cost more initially but the swap is a driveway job. If you're going that route, get a couple quotes and see what your options are

My buddy and I will do the change over. I want the truck to be level and have room for bigger tires if I decide to go that route. Thanks for the info

I did the 5100 up front on the highest setting. I got the bilsteins on-line from SDHQ and a local shop put them on for $100. Leveled and done. I can’t do much bigger tires than 32 or 33 or I won’t fit in the garage!
