Does a leveling kit and putting a 1 inch taller tire on the 22 Tundra affect the gas mileage?

I normally get 19-21 mpg between the house and town. If I get on the interstate I can get up to 26 and even a little better depending. Do you think it will make a 1-2 mpg difference or greater? My miles add up pretty fast so that means the gas bill goes along with it

It definitely will take mpg from you. Start with the level see how you like it then go to tires.

If I were to just do the leveling kit it would be the 2" spacers upfront. I'm to old for the big lift kits now. I had a 87-91 Toyota and they both had 7" suspension with a 3" body and also the torsion bars were turned. Both had .571 gears and would run 38" tires like nothing to it.

I’ve got a 2” spacer in and I’m driving with the stock OR 18s right now it says I get around 15-17 ltr/100km. When I had the 295/70/18 set on I was getting 22+ ltr/100km. That’s just the eco gauge telling me and I can change those numbers up and down with driving habits. The front level won’t be the worst for mpg it’s the more you add on, driving bone stock is best but who likes that.

I put the 1” taller tire on and haven’t noticed my mileage change…but I’m still breaking in my truck..(only getting 15.5 mpg so far). Hopefully it will get better

Just turned over 3k. I will say I haven’t done the math between fill-ups, solely looking at the dash display results.
