Recently I was gifted some hail damage to my truck. The insurance company wants to PDR the small dents to the hood.

Here's the deal, the damage is so minor that the PDR is probably a good option, but with all the wonderful road conditions in CO, my hood probably could use a shot of paint. This got me thinking since I was given 750.00 to PDR my hood (I personally think that is rediculous) and have been quoted 400.00 in the past to paint hoods (little rough on hoods due to roll overs in Jeep).

    This got me thinking....

My other option is to PDR the hood and then do paint restoration.

The website didn't bring me to any products but I'm assuming you want an aftermarket hood? Put up a pic of the hood you're thinking about if you don't mind

    I like that hood!
The way I think is you can do this and paint it, OR you can have a few hundred left over after PDR to do some mods you've been wanting to do!! All depends on your mod priority
    I could do either one!!

    Oh Lord.....

It is pure envy when I look at your truck and the pounding I would put on it.
