    Today is Rememberance Day, the day we rememeber our veterans; those who have served and those currently serving. We remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this nation, so that those of us at home can live in freedom and security.

    At 11AM, take a moment of silence to think of our veterans and those of our allies. If you know a veteran, shake their hand and thank them for their service.

    I have ancestors who fought on the beaches of France during WW2. My grandfather spent time in the US Marines. I have a few friends who have served Canada in the Balkans and in Afghanistan. To them, I say "Thank you".
