I had a Tacoma for 4 years and was very happy with it but my family is only getting bigger. We need to upgrade the truck for more family room in the cab. So lucky me I had an excuse to upgrade from a prerunner Tacoma dclb 4.0 to a tundra crew max 4x4 5.7L with a bench seat, for that possibilities to bring another one of the kids friends with us. So far I am extremely happy with my truck, I have almost 400 miles on it and just got a flowmaster 40 series put on it today. Sounds awesome! I have several things in mind I want to do to make it fully my truck but we shall see how long it takes to get it all done. If anyone has any must have mods that they recommend please let me know.
I've attached a pic of her parked out front of the house. I plan to level it out with 5100s all the way around and put some raceline injectors with 285/65/18 toyo AT2s on next. If anyone already has the raceline injectors on let me know how you like and of coarse attach a pic showing them on the truck.
I look forward to learning all about the tundras.

Thanks for your time and hope you guys have a good weekend.

Same thing here. I wish I could have kept the Taco but after going to the Tundra I really love the extra room. My Taco had the 6 so manual, which I loved, but the automatic grew on me quick haha.

Anyway, welcome to Tundras.com and congrats on the new truck.

Does that replace the stock tailgate handle/lock to make it lock and unlock with the truck doors?

Doesn't replace anything. It just adds an actuator to the lock. And yes, will lock and unlock with the doors.

A lot of us came from tacos including me (which I loved), but it's no comparison to driving a big boy truck. It's weird but panties drop when you drive by :notsure: its an actual phenomenon

If only it would make my wife's panties drop. Haha jk. You should get the go pro attatchment for the bed rail for a panty dropping montage
