Hey all, I’m contemplating getting a move bumper and welding it myself. I found a decent pair of flush mount pod lights and a 30” light bar that I was going to wire independently to a switch I have on my dash. If I spliced in 9006 connectors to the 4 fog lights and ran that to my factory fog light harness would that mess anything up or am I missing something?

Without knowing the amperage. But you will most likely need need a fused relay harness sized for the 4x led lights. This way you can still use the factory fog light switch to turn them off and on and not blow the fuse that would normally power the factory fog lights.

Each light is about 42w so about 14 amps total for the 4 lights

Youll want to use a relay and a harness.

For rough reference on what AWG wire can handle.

Agreed. Pretty simple to do as well.
