I just installed HR's interior bulb upgrade kit. In their Youtube video, the map light bulbs used are GTR T10 Crytal Lens bulbs. Apparently, GTR discontinued those bulbs and HR is substituting GTR T10 Carbide 2 bulbs. These are very well constructed but they feature LEDs on the tip of the bulb pointing in the direction of the long axis of the bulb (designed to shine light in one direction where ever the bulb is pointed - great for cargo lights). As a map light, they truly suck. They are too bright. The directionality of their light bounces off the reflector and right into my eye leaving me temporarily blinded seeing a spot any time I look in that direction.

Can anyone recommend a map light LED that has some sort of diffuser/lens that will more appropriately spread the light out over the cabin?
