Installed leather heated TRD Katzkin seats. It took about 1 full day for two of us. This was my first time fully swapping on my own. It was definitely worth it but not something a complete novice should jump into.

My Old interior was just the cloth SR5 interior.

So those are heated seat cover replacements? Do you have a link for these? How does the wiring work?

They are replacements to the fabric. The fabric must come off in order to install. I only say that because when you use the word “cover”, a lot of people will confused that with a slip over. The heated seat pads I purchased through Amazon separately. I wired the switch to the power source in my center console and the main power source to the fuse panel.

    personal plow, tool box,
Let me tell you right now... that’s mint and you’re gonna seriously appreciate heated seats come early fishing season. When you’re standing waist deep in a river trying to swing a streamer fly under a sheet of ice... oh yeah your buddies are gonna be beggin’ Yeah to start the truck on your walk back.

I did Katzkin and heated front and back this summer, and the $650-ish that this costs is a bargain for what you get back in comfort and styling.
    That looks great- good install!!

Thanks Tundra Dudes, while I don’t plan on standing waist deep in any frozen rivers, this upgrade pretty much made my truck look and smell new again.

Some may argue but I like the aftermarket covers more then the factory leather. It will hold up WAY better. That's why Mercedes puts Faux in the majority of their cars. My 2015 C400 seats still look brand new with 55k. My 2019 Tundra with 27k look ok....

I have thought about doing this to my truck. How do you feel about the heated seat control? I keep thinking they look small and head to manipulate. My wife has them in our van and it is a simple on and off and easy to control. Do you have any trouble turning them off and on when driving?

I got my Katzkin from an eBay seller. I think I paid $550/free shipping and then another $100 or so on heaters for the front and rear (Amazon).

I don’t have any issues rolling the dial up and down. For someone who doesn’t know that it’s there, they would have a hard time finding it.

I bought mine randomly on eBay around Xmas time, around $600 I believe. I reached out to Katzkin to see about center console trim or even spare leather to purchase and they don’t do that.

They will sell you yards of whatever color you want. I had them send me matching material to cover my armrest to match. Just call them up or ask @jhuey8947

They were really cheap 2. I think for 2 yards of red they only charged 30$

Does anybody let their dog jump onto their new Katzkin leather seats? I really want these but I will be sad if my furry friend can’t ride along.

My Chocolate Lab (who sheds like a maniac) rides in the back seat area with the seats folded up. I was able to fit her pet pillow back there for a nice comfy riding experience.

I thought the seats up option in back was perfect when I first got the truck, but I was told that cramps his style...he apparently prefers the front seat.
