I got a Husqvarna 125 blower, and weedeater.
Both crank fine but with the blower I can run it as long as I want, stop, refill with gas run again. But if I leave it for a bit it's almost impossible to start again. It's like I have to let it cool completely down before restarting. I've given it a seafoam treatment and now running the Husqvarna branded pre mix gas to clean it out.

Starts on the second or third pull, runs great but if it starts to cool off in the slightest I have to let it cool off completely it seams.

The weedeater just runs. I love it.

And it seems like all the blowers I"ve had has been like this. Suggestions?

I'd throw a new plug in it. Sometimes when you check those small plugs you'll see spark, but it's weak. Also, usually I would say clean the carb, but sometimes it's easier (and cheap) to just buy a new carb. Other than that, not much more to do on a small 2-stroke.

Tried a new plug the other week. One of those split tail things from Lowes, ran like crap, miss firing. I cleaned up the old one and checked the gap, put it in and ran like new.

It's just when it cools off a bit that it becomes hard to crank. When it's hot it's fine or dead cold it's fine.

I tried my hand at rebuilding a carb long time ago, the old snapper never ran right again.

My weed eater does the exact same thing. I manipulate the choke to about 1/2 and feather the throttle as I'm pulling. Usually fires up in 2-3 pulls.

I had a chainsaw that would do that. Come to think of it, I don’t know where my chainsaw is.

I lost one, found it in the spring in the carport closet. Don't know how it got there.

When I went restart, can you prime it and get it to start? Or adjust the choke and get it to go?

If that works, you carb is dirty and or needs the jets adjusted

There might be a magic combination to do this, generally end up flooding it. What I don't understand is I can always get the weedeater to fire back up on demand.

You only have to do the fuel pump bulb and choke on cold start. After that, mine restarted with a single pull for years, but it's now beginning to take 2-3 pulls to restart after maybe five years of never emptying the fuel system for storage. No doubt it's beginning to gum up. I usually start with fresh gas oil mix every season.

My advice: Just replace the carb. Those little carbs are too cheap to try and repair, or to even bother with running the system dry after each use (good practice). You can also try holding the throttle trigger down while starting if it's flooding; this will open the throttle plate wide open to allow as much air into the flooded engine/carb as possible.

BTW I only use Non Ethanol on the small engines but you might be right, it's a nasty world out there and all sorts of crap gets sucked up.

You've probably already eliminated this possibility, but if it's flooding, your air filter could also need replacement.

On my Husky chain saws (haven't looked at the leaf blower, probably very similar), there are two types of Husky filters available: a VERY fine mesh plastic screen (their preferred offering? wtf?) and a conventional pleated paper. Since I was trying to keep micro dust particles out, not insects, I opted for the pleated paper.

Ethanol is not necessary for problems. The light components of gasoline have always evaporated in storage leaving the heavier stuff behind as gums in solution. If any of that is sucked off the tank bottom into the fuel system, it starts screwing things up beginning with the fuel filter or strainer. If it's starving for fuel, then I've had to replace that little strainer on the end of the fuel pick up tube...they're pretty cheap too.
