Hi everyone. I’m new to this forum, but have a question I could use some help with.

I have a 2016 TRD Pro that I have put about 50k miles on since March. Currently sitting at 117k miles. I drive down really, very rough white rock road in the oilfield, usually 150-200 miles a day. My TRD Pro suspension was butter when I first got it, but has since died down in performance. I have also added bumpers, if that makes a difference.

My next goal is to add lift and improve ride quality. What is my absolute BEST option for achieving a couple inches height and running over curbs smoothly. I have been considering Kings or Icons but there are many stages and variables that I am unfamiliar with. I have tools in tool box and some fab fours bumpers.

    0BF994A1-F8BA-472A-A0B2-59B18A4CFC26.jpg Budget is $5-6k

    that's a badass looking truck!

you should be able to do a sick setup for your budget. I have Icon's and they ride pretty good, but i'd like to try the Kings, seems that everyone is very pleased with them.

Can you go into detail on these? If they accomplish lift and how much? Is it something to piece together or are there complete kits? Which one?

Should I get different leafs because the added weight in the bed + bumper?

Definitely a suspension lift if you're worried about ride quality. You can't really go wrong with any of the major brands, Icon, King, ADS, etc but since you have a pro, I believe their lifts will be around 1-2 inches since the pro is already 2 inches higher than stock.
Do you air down your tires when you go on the rough roads? That helps immensely when it comes to toning down vibrations from the road. Even 10 PSI will make a big difference

@Icon_Adrian posted a breakdown of the stages of icon. I'm extremely happy with my setup. You should be able to get just about anything you want in that price range from @sdhq_offroad

One of my operators recently put a carli suspension on his ram eco-diesel and it smokes my TRD Pro suspension. I need to one-up him

MCM fab for ADS, give Matt a call and he can set you up with the complete package.
King, someone help me out? I think maybe it's Down South whom you can call for the complete King set up.
And, the Fox "rep" is @osidepunker. I believe he can tell ya what to get or who to contact for Fox.

Thanks, I’ve looked at both of those, I’m just so damn foreign to suspension .. I want to do it right since I run my truck so hard and my circumstances seem to be different than most Tundra drivers.

Yes, and because it's a progressive pack and will ride tons better. I suggested the U748 'cause it's supposed to handle weight better than the K37 pack.

I’d imagine even a Toytec 3/1 setup would ride nicer than the stock Pro suspension. Have only driven the TRD Pro taco and its very rough. Plenty of threads on different suspension setups on this forum. Might want to just spend a few hours researching

Oh trust me, I have. Everyone has different opinions, and that’s fine. I’m just hoping a suspension guru can chime in and more fine-tune my selection based on my circumstances- super rough roads, 200 miles a day, weight in the bed of the truck occasionally, etc.

OP, I don’t think you could go wrong with this setup. I almost splurged on this but ended up going with the Eibach 3/1 with TC UCAs. 2drw5e9_69bdf5987fd0434c651b33f74556b34d1b62d1e4.jpg

This is exactly what I was looking at alongside an Icon 4 or 5 .. this seemed to have a lot more hardware, wasn’t sure why or what that meant

200 super rough offroad miles a day??? I would definitely go with 3.0's in front and atleast 2.5's in the rear.
