    2000 tundra access cab SR5
    I just bought this 2000 tundra two days ago my issues with the keys the keys are kind of sloppy but sometimes you put them in the ignition and they won’t turn you can pull them out turnaround And sometimes it works sometimes won’t. it will do the same thing with the doors it’ll lock the drivers door but wont unlock. passenger door everything works fine on it any ideas please

    I had the same issues on my 01 Sequoia. The key was so well loved that it had rounded edges. I was even able to pull my primary key out of the ignition when it was running.

    I could lock the drivers door but not unlock it.

    Enjoy the Tundra.

    Edit: Now the idea - if the business side of the key has rounded hills and not sharp points, you can probably just get new keys made and be up and running without issues. Don’t get copies of the bad keys.
