Karr alarm

My 16 tundra when I purchased it came with this Karr security system that they mounted under dash left side. The little rectangle black plastic piece has a red light that now doesn’t turn on.. looks like a part of that comes out if I push the blue button looks like it would come out. Why doesn’t this light turn on and is this thing even worth keeping? There’s no key fob for it I’m sure it’s connected through my key.need some help here.. thank you guys

 

download the Karr BT app on your phone. If you paid for the Karr security it should be a simple set up.

I down loaded app but I don’t have a user or password? There’s no where I can even create on there? What next?

 

I created mine off of the app the following day I bought my tundra. Granted it was in the beginning of July.

I remember having creating an account was a bit funky. Maybe I just entered my email address and said forgot password and it brought me to a screen where i was able to create an account. sorry for the piss poor help. I figured they would have a create account option by now.

 

The crappy Karr Alarm was one of the first things I had removed from my truck by my local auto stereo shop.

 

I think I’m headed in that direction,I’m afraid this garbage is going to short out or go out and shut the whole truck down for no reason accept being a gimmick I should have never bought. I got suckered in to that from the. Toyota dealer I’m finance office . Never again. The only thing I bought was the extended warranty 5 yrs 125k warranty but it’s a Toyota they never. Break of you maintain them 100%. Love the Toyotas best vehicles made in my opinion. Just installed the heavy duty road armor bumpers on my truck and they fit so well and super heavy.now working on reverse lights in back bumper almost done and the four lights in front bumper next.. two driving and two fog lights. Should be interesting to see. Will post pics of this set up in a couple weeks. Thanks

 

Wise idea. Mine was causing some major parasitic battery drains. Once I removed the alarm the drain on the battery stopped.
