Truck I bought - 2011 V8 came with K&N. Thinking about switching back to stock air box and filter. I do like the “rumble” it gives off around town but on long drives it does get tiresome. I’m up and down the mountains quite a bit and that is where the drone is the most noticeable.

Unfortunately in a fit of garage cleaning I threw out the old air intake box.

For those that have switched -Is stock that much quieter. My Sequoia is pretty quite but is newer.

Thoughts? I’ve found some intakes for sale local for reasonable.

    Thanks

Stock box is very quiet and K&N makes a panel filter for it, if you're so inclined

    Hello,
I would call Keith Carty of Dirty Deeds Industries and pick his brain. No one knows Tundra's like Keith does. Plus our exhaust systems 100% complete remove the drone altogether. He is out of the office most days, but is always available via phone. You can call or text him anytime at 760-877-4234. He does take many calls and texts a day, but is very good at getting back to everyone.

    Thanks, Shawna, DDI
