What's up All, I know this might have been ask before or posted but can't seem to find any related topic for troubleshooting the NSV lightbar with this issue.

Just installed the NSV light bar with the 3 in 1 switch the lightbar works swipe is working, DLR is working, and the full light when highbeam is on is working. My issue is my left turn signal is hyperflashing/flickering the front signal light is not working but the back signal light is.

Also notice that when lights are on Auto when I do the highbeam the lightbar does not turn on it only turns on when the lights are not on auto mode.

Anybody with a 2019 Tundra installed this nsv lightbar? Did you run into this issue were the signal light is hyperflashing? Also is that normal the full light will not work when you have it on Auto?

    Thank you

I would review the install video on HR's site and double check the connections. How long did it take you to receive the bar and the switch once you ordered them?

trust me I doubled checked my work multiple times. I think I have an idea what is wrong I will try it and update this later.

I paid an extra $70.00 for 3 to 6 day shipping so I got it in less than a week

they have options on how quick you want the delivery

    Not sure at this point.
I just checked the install guide - you may want to double check to make sure you connected the pins properly.

    Following.

Anyway to reengineer the harnesses for the light bar to come on with dim lights? I very rarely use high beams...

Also, I remember reading here in the forum the strobe function still worked if one of the harness pins was moved.

You can't have it on while driving on public streets.

Assume your comment refers to the full light bar on with low beams?

On my 18, you can only trigger the light bar when high beams are on and not in Auto. Did you cut the blue wire? I think it goes to the turn signal.

Been there, done that. Lol, you can blame Toyota's crappy halogen bulbs for my light bar being on.

Dang...really want one of these light bars now...but don't want all the BS issues that seem to be occurring with the NSV harness.

Not to knock the NSV light bar, but the Nilight 41" fits under the hood bulge with some cutting.

So the NSV can't be rewired to work as a standalone instead of being tied to only come on with the high beams?

HR says it will only work with high beams on and there was no way around it. At least the BD S8 is an option.

yeah but the BD S8 doesn't do the swipe or DRL only the full light and fitment is not the same as the NSV you will need to do some cutting and even doing the cutting it is not as flush as the NSV. I got the NSV cause of the features but it would be nice if you can connect it directly to your switch. All good still happy with the NSV just need to get the headlight motor working and I'll be 100% satisfied. :)

I actually got a hold with Jensen and he is asking around he got one guy that had the same issue.

I still don't know if HR is correct on the wiring. I don't want it if it will only power from high beams.

just to let you know I did not tap or cut any factory cable the blue cable I cut is from the NSV cable so you shouldn't be tapping or cutting any wires from your Morimoto headlight.

How do you like your Morimoto headlight?

I'm thinking doing my headlight next eventually going with Morimoto or Alpharex.

Agree with @FlipMonkey21 the blue wire is on the HR patch harness. I asked them too.

One of their vids said it was a safety feature...as a way to quickly turn the light bar off from the steering wheel instead of fumbling around in the dark to turn a switch off (said it was dangerous for the driver).

I agree with you - there must be a way to direct wire it to power/ground/switch and it operate the same.

Did you ever get your problem fixed? I just installed this lightbar on my 2020 and cut the blue wire and lost the function of my left turn signal. Reconnected the blue wire and got my turn signal back but now it looks like I blown my taillight fuse. I only knew to check my taillights cuz I contacted Headlight Revolution and warned me about the possiblity of the taillight fuse blowing. So I am not sure what is going on! :notsure:
