Will these fit on my truck?

If not, can I just purchase Tundra brackets? Brand is unknown tho.

    Thanks!

Well, with a little fabricating anything will fit.. What were they originally mounted on?

Not directly I assume? Will I need new brackets?

Not sure. But it will fit if you make it happen.

Might be too much work. I'll just buy one.. think I've seen ones for about $150. Thank you for your responses!

In the end, you are better off just buying one that fits with all the parts. Wise choice.

Look up Tyger on Amazon. Much cheaper than most, and pretty tough. I weigh 286lbs and can jump up and down on them with no movement. Had them for about a year now and no issues. 6 months ago I bought their bed cover also, very nice.

You know how much the OEM brackets cost, right? :D

Last time I checked they were like $50/bracket new, and you need several brackets!

RAM is a much bigger truck than the gen 1 Tundra's; actually more in line with the gen 2 Tundra's. The gen 2 Tacoma's are closer in size to our gen 1 Tundra's so may have something that fits better.

I'm not going to try and make it fit. Its about 84" long. Even if I buy the correct mounting brackets the holes on the bar don't seem to line up where they need to be mounted. Looking like too much of a hassle. I could be all wrong tho lol but just thought I try since these fell in my lap.

Might be able to find a free-bie take off on OEM form fitting boards off Craigslist.

    Just an idea.

Thanks for the idea! I'm not 100% certain on getting steps anyway. But I do like the looks of yours! Very minimal/sleek design. Nice truck.

Thanks for the kind words, I got the OEM running board idea from another member here.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I'd consider trading my white running boards like shown above for OEM steel tube ones in equally excellent shape. I'm still on the fence about whether to do the swap without seeing other white access cabs with the tube version on. Pics of my boards can be seen in the link at my signature.

Keep your originals. They look good. The tube style looks bulky and out of place.

I feel kinda like the tube ones make the truck cab look like it's cut short. On the DC it looks good. I haven't seen many AC with them in my color, so not sure how it would look with the chrome and black down there.

I must have missed the totally tubular OEM boards... anyone got a pic for comparison?

Here's a red 2000 AC with the OEM tubes. https://www.tundras.com/threads/lets-see-your-first-gen-photo-thread.21/page-20#post-916535

What I will say is the '03+ or whatever got facelift, so they look quite a bit different with the tubes IMO. I just happened to see that one earlier when trying to figure out if a 00-02 grille insert would fit on my '06
