Nope. Plug in front and rear MAP sensors, mount the device on the driver side fuse box, load the app up, toss 93 in the tank and let it rip. I've been on Map 2 pretty much full time. No issues to date other than a lean off idle code every once in a while.

You can run 91. You just have to select a lower map. Map 2 requires 93. Map 1 is less boost.

93oct from everything I see netted about 50-60hp and 50-60tq.

    That is a noticeable difference.

You'll gain the response back you had with standard tires. It will bring you back to "stock" power levels.

I'm on TRD pro tire size right now (made a mistake ordering tires), and the truck is silly quick for a 6k lb vehicle.

    JB4 gurus! Quick question:

Is there any difference between the JB4 unit from Hybrid to Non-Hybrid?
That is, same unit used for both?

I just notice that Burger Motorsports website has two different dropdowns; one for each.

Looking at a pre-owned unit listed on here but was on a Hybrid.
Will it work on my NON-Hybrid truck?

Sorry bud, wish I knew the answer. The plugs are all the same, just dont know if the harness lengths differ at all.

    No worries guys.
The seller confirmed for me via a quote from here (not sure from this thread or another) from user @ziznack
that stated they are the same and that he had confirmed that from BMS.
So, I will be joining the ranks of JB4 tuned Tundras shortly.

I may be hitting you up for the BT module Eddie, assuming availability. We'll see.
