Hey all. I've never done any build threads before.. So here goes nothing. This will probably be slow and painful. I've gained inspiration from many of you and hopefully I'll be able to assist a few others in the process.

I traded my 16 Chevy Colorado CC Z71 Diesel for a 16 MGM Tundra TRD Pro DC w/ 39K on the clock. I managed to get the dealer to throw in a set of all weather floor mats for free.

First order of business was 20% tint all the way around as well as EGR Matte Black window visors and hood deflector. Gotta get my old man on. I also needed a tonneau cover. So I ordered a Gator Evo.

Then I decided the factory stereo wasn't up to snuff. So everything except the HU was replaced. That can be followed in this thread...
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/jackwagons-audio-conquest.12046/
I still need to install the door speakers. Shame on me.. I know, I know.

Since the current factory "car" tires have about 52K on them... It is time for some new meats.. This was a battle amungst itself. Follow my flip flop in this thread...
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/falken-wildpeak-at3w-cooper-stt-pro-and-size-advice.16921/

I've also ordered 1 set (2) of coachbuilder shims to add 1/2" up front and 1" LRO Block kit for the rear. Just in case I need a little extra room. These have not been installed yet.

    Installed MOD List:
    20% Tint
    EGR Hood Visor
    Orion 1K watt 1ch amp
    Kicker 8" subs
    Clarion 4ch 50W amp
    35x12.5R18 Yokohama Geolander G015
    Coachbuilder Shims (2 driver/1 pass)
    LRO Block kit (1")
    6 3/4 Short Antenna
    BORA 1.25" Spacer
    Tow Mirrors
    Tech12Volt Remote Start
    Softopper
    Goodridge SS Brakeline Kit

    Removed MOD List:
    EGR Window Visor
    1/4” wheel spacers
    295/70R18 STT Pro
    GATOR EVO Tonneau cover

    Future MOD List:
    6.5 POLK Audio speakers (purchased)
    Hypertech Speedo Re-cal (purchased)
    Sliders: WKO
    Bumpers: ?
    Ditch Lights

A bunch of pictures have been added to the other threads, so I'll only be adding new pictures to this thread... Which I don't have any yet. Ha. Hope you enjoy and I'll keep updating.

Oh.. and for anyone wondering.. I was able to hustle the wife into letting me upgrade to the Tundra by telling her that our newborn son needed more room.

A little teaser shot while I wait for tomorrow.

Got the STT Pro’s installed. 100% stock TRD PRO with no rubbing. They are close to the UCA tho. I did remove the mud flaps when I first got the truck. Now for the pictures.

I’d like to add real world measurements for anyone interested..

    Cooper STT Pro
    295/70/18 :: 34.49x12x18

At 35psi mine measure just under 34x11.75.... so I would say it is fairly accurate to manufacturer measurements.

    Looking good.

Question from a new person still trying to understand lingo: what are you referring to when you say there's no rubbing? I've seen that being said on other posts. Thanks.

    No worries.

I’m referring to the tires rubbing against any part of the truck. I am able to turn lock to lock and I have not noticed any rubbing on any hard or plastic parts. Keep in mind my mud flaps have been removed since I purchased the truck. I have not cycled the suspension yet, so that still needs to be tested.

Hope that clears up your question.

I haven't done the chalk test yet, but does anyone have any PSI recommendations for this size and tire? I'm thinking about bumping it up from 35 to 40 and see how that goes. Recommendations?

An update for everyone. I have not completed the audio install of the door speakers. I know, I know... I should be ashamed. ha.. Anyway, I did bump the PSI up to 40. The only complaint is the ride is a little rougher. Everything else remains the same.

Thank you. No "poke" really. They are just inside the overall fender.

So.. If slow and steady wins the race.. Here is a slow, but steady update.

I decided to go a different route on the 1.25 wheel spacers. The 295's are about flush with the fender and very close to the UCA. I've decided and ordered the 1/4" wheel spacers from @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc. I figure this will put my wheels/tires right where I want them and give me peice of mind for UCA spacing.

This new purchase has made me realize I need to get off my butt and finish what I have started. That being said... I will be installing the Coachbuilder shims, LRO block and wheel spacers very soon. Then I will install the Polk door speakers and officially tune the entire sound system (gotta admit that it sounds good in its current state). This should hold me over for a bit.

Finally installed the Ionic side steps. They actually look pretty good. They aren’t sliders, but they will do for now. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow when it’s daylight.

It has been a while, but nothing has changed with the truck. I still have parts laying around that need installed. We did however go out and get a travel trailer. Check this bad boy out.

Well all... I finally have an update. I just completed my brakes and wheel spacers. I went with Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow. They are drilled and slotted. Fell pretty good. I also put the Wheelers 1/4” spacers on to create a little more room for the tires. Wasn’t necessary, but gives me piece of mind.
