one of these years, i'm going to get over there to watch it in person. been a bucket list item for so long.

 

These guys are nuts. I can't believe a couple of riders die every year and they still allow them to race.

 

My brother and his new wife go every year, that’s where he asked her to marry him. Not a bad way to dump $30k

 

Been there! loved it. definitely worth every penny. Same with pikes peak which is slightly cheaper.

 

if you've got the time, give this a watch. documentary on a guy who had been a race doctor...

 

Complete insanity...you have to be a special sort of crazy to race there. Haven't been to isle of man but have been to another circuit in Northern Ireland, much of the raod was just over 1 lane and much of it either had hedges, stone walls, or structures right up to the road surface...you come off you and you are in terrible shape if you make it.

 

I always wanted to do this... but I was poor and not very good. Now I’m too old and have children.

I love me some Isle of man! I always wondered how they fit in those leather suits with balls that big. That's a special type of athlete to do what they do.
