I will be getting a basic winch - probably a warn var evo….are the holes in the front of the bumper big enough to access everything I will need to use the winch? I am surprised by the bumpers that dont have any access at all. I don’t think I need a $2k winch

I'd talk to them...I got a C4 bumper that took a 30 inch light bar. As soon as that was installed I had to move the winch controller inside the engine bay. I was still able to release the winch so it would free spool thru and access hole but no way was there enough room to plug in the winch controller. With all that said I prefer it being in the engine bay anyway when it was all said and done. I got latest gen smittybuilt 12k.
