Seems high! You might as well go 4x4. Where in LA are you from?

+1 for Costco. Plus you get something like 15% off all the accessories at purchase, which you can start your mods before you even have the truck!

+2 for Costco. I used the Costco program to purchase my truck - got a good deal with no pressure. Also got a 1-time 50% off coupon for any service or part. The 15% service/part coupons can be requested from Costco at any time even if you did not use the Costco program to purchase the vehicle.

I forgot one was 50%; I think I bought my skid plate with that. Good to know you can just request them as well.

Go on line and use kellys blue book, as i remember you choose three dealers per zip code, then the dealers will start calling. Tell them what you want then sit back and wait. Compare prices and use the price back and forth. I just bought a limited platinum Highlander for the wife, MSRP was 48,200 i paid 42,600 and still think i could have got it down further. Go with a 4×4 so you won't be sorry later. Just my 0.02 %

What packages are you getting on it? If it’s basic then that’s to high but just hit up other dealers and give them your price and see who matches first and then use that as leverage with other dealers

+ 1 on Costco, you can also try AAA and they will most likely send you to Longo

Longo Toyota sells more tundras than any other dealer so I'm guessing they will give me the lowest price to get their Sales goals

Keep at it and don't cave!

I went back and forth via email for 3 days worth a dealer 70 miles away when I bought mine. Checked it out when I was down visiting my mom and couldn't make a deal. $60 apart and the prick says "you gonna let it go for 60 bucks?". I told him "yup, you going to let a customer walk over 60 bucks?". Went and picked it up the next morning.

Go through one of the car buying services that I mentioned and it will be less hassle on your part. Most of all, do your research! Good luck on your purchase.

It sounds like a fair price depending on how it’s equiped.

Should be able to get a bit more, $5 or $6k off is common.
