Is an AVS bug shield supposed to fit like this?

I recently installed a new AVS bug shield on my 04 Tundra since the old one was cracked and rotted. The new one looks great from the front but funky from the side. Is it supposed to go straight up like that in the center and have such a large gap or is something wrong here (installation, fitment, etc). See pics.

It looks funky from the side because of the Silverado. Get rid of the Chevy and all your problems will go away.

I knew something was wrong with that picture. The chevy front tire looks low too.

It’s not mine, if it was I’d sell it and buy another 1st gen Tundra

I've sold the truck so I can't confirm 100% but I'm nearly certain of it.

Called AVS, sent them photos. Even they agree it isn't right. Defective molding most likely and will be getting a replacement.
