Just wondering on the feasibility of buying 1794 interior trim parts to install on a lower trim. Just surfaces (not seats) as would get Katzkin of a complimentary colour.

    Tastefully enhanced...
It will be most affordable using a pick and pull , CL, or marketplace for those pieces but it will 100% snap into place...

Not too hard. Just source the part numbers and hit up sparksparts.com or something. I did this to my Limited to a TRD PRO. The doors are another story though, as the whole panel must be replaced but the wood trim and passenger side piece below the airbag are just snap in to replace. Center console is easy too

This is way more expensive then you might think.

best bet is to find a parts truck that has been wrecked

Or sell and upgrade to a 1794. By the time you find parts and the work into swapping, you might be better off just buying something different. Gotta consider the value of your time too.

This and your VIN will never consider the value of these changes. Essentially you do all this work, and it may make it appealing, but it won’t increase the value of your truck.

a 1794 will be complete with what you’re looking to do and be more valuable because of the value baked into the VIN
