2016, interior lights stopped working. The dome lights, map lights, footwell lights, and vanity mirror lights all stopped working. They do not come on when the door is opened, they do not come on using the the off/door/on switch on the dash, nor do they come on when the individual light switches are actuated.

Everything else powered from the 7.5 fuse in the engine bay works. The fuse tests good. Everything that should happen when the door is opened happens, cargo light comes on, dash indicates mileage, etc. The only things that do not work are all the interior lights.

They stopped working the night the truck spent the night outside and temps dropped to 3 degrees that night. The cargo light had also stopped working that night but has mysteriously started working again. Don’t know if the cold has anything to do with it or not.

Anyone have any thoughts on where to look next?

Do you have light mods or is everything stock?

I'm having this same issue, but a little different.
It all started when the temps here got into single digits a couple of days ago.
The only difference is I can replace the dome fuse and everything works, for a few hours, but then something blows it while the truck is parked.
When the fuse is intact, my aftermarket alarm keeps going off every 20 minutes telling me the door is open, but it isn't.

The cargo lights work, they are on a separate circuit.

I'm waiting for it to get a little warmer here before I start digging into the problem.
I have LED footwell mods and LED puddle light mods (tapped into that circuit), I'm going to try disconnecting them and see if it still blows the fuse.
But whatever is making the alarm think the door is open has me befuddled..

Two years ago I put LEDs in everywhere. They have been in for 2+ years with no issue. The only thing that changed was the truck was outside in cold weather instead of sitting in the garage. And the fact that the cargo light stopped the same night but now works again baffles me too. I haven’t put a meter on the sockets to see if they have power. I doubt they do but for a lack of knowing what else to do, I may as well verify my suspicion.

Thank you. I actually stumbled across this and some other things on another thread you posted. I looked at the loads off the fuse and the other things such as remote door unlock still work. I’ve not sat down and studied the wiring diagrams yet. Seems like something has failed that kills all power to the lights. Or all the bulbs failed at the same time which seems unlikely. I’ll put a meter on it in a little while to verify.

If it is anything like my 2018, Dome light fuse. Interior fuse panel (as opposed to the engine bay panel) located under the dash to the left of the brake pedal. Mine was a 10a fuse.

Just a shot in the dark, have you guys checked your voltages or condition of your battery? Got me thinking that with the cold and the alarms and needing a reset (when things magically start working again) might be the common culprit here. Could be nothing but worth ruling out.

Happened to me. Turns out I guess I keep bumping the switch. The switches are squeezed into the weirdist places on these trucks!

@Chucktoons did you ever figure this out?

I replaced my dome fuse yesterday and everything works again.
I have no idea what was making it blow..

The load list I looked at was apparently not correct. It listed more stuff than the interior lights on the circuit that has the interior lights. the other stuff still worked. when i decided to look at the fuse anyway, it was blown. Replaced it and all is well.
