Interior lights won’t turn on when I open the driver side door but will come on when the passenger door opens. Is there a connection in the door panel that triggers this I can check maybe?

There is a door ajar switch on each side. Push it by hand and see if it turns off/on. If it doesn’t, remove it (I think 10mm bolt) and swap it with the passenger side to see if it follows.

Check your jamb switch. Its the little black button that pushes in on the Access Door. When you open the main door it releases and lets the switch open so the lights come on. They are made by Wells (OEM Japan) and cost about $14. I replaced both mine last year as my pass side was bad. Swapped the driver over to the pass side to confirm. The ground wire is built into the rear of the door switch washer and needs to make full contact to work.

My local stealer sells them cheaper than online now. Plug and play 10mm bolt.

Yep, super simple. Swapped the passenger to the driver side and going to call it good. Thanks for the help and quick response.
