Instrument cluster screen replacement / screen protector install (How-to)

This process will make it easier to install a screen protector by removing the lens from the dash.

Remove the 2 push pins.



Remove the corner AC vent.



Remove the upper portion of the lower panels.





Remove the 2 grey trim pieces. They are a little tight, pull them straight back and they will pop out.




Lower the steering wheel to allow more room to remove the trim panel. Start removing the trim panel. NOTE: In the circled area, there are 4 snap in clips that attach the dust boot to the lower portion of the trim panel. You can squeeze the prongs together to unclip them.




Remove the trim panel.



Now that the panel is removed, you can remove the lens. You will see the tabs that hold it in place. Gently pull on the lens near the clips and they will come out easily.



After screen protector installation or lens replacement, don't forget to clean your fingerprints from the back side before installation.
