haha! they really do look cool though. Reminds me of an upgrade you'd get while playing Need for Speed on a Ps2

man i thought the light output on my alphaowls was mediocre, but damn that's really bad on yours...wonder what happened there.
i swapped in my leveling motors on mines too and the adjustment is all crazy, driver side barely moves up/down while passenger side has a lot of adjustment up/down.

did you ever talk to anyone there? i’m hoping to hear back tomorrow. i would really like my leveling motors to work and to fix that hotspot because these headlights look the best to me. i would hate to get rid of them

They look like they need to be pointing way up and not at the ground. If you were parked in front of a vertical structure, I don't think they'd be pointing at it. Definitely a leveling issue, they can't be that bad. Maybe put one of the stock ones back on then level one then put the other back on.

the problem i’m having is that i swapped the leveling motor from the stock headlights to these ones and neither of them are working anymore.

Haven't taken mine off to know the inner working. Are you able to remove them off the headlights to see if the motors work? If they do, reinstall and see if they work. Probably a headlight issue or incompatible with stock leveling motors if they don't.

hopefully they'll be willing to exchange them and it wont be too much of a hassle. as far as the leveling goes mines still move up and down with the motors installed but somethings off cause adjustment is so limited. they top and bottom out too easily so cant even properly aim them where'd i'd like.

the manual adjustment was way better before i swapped the motors in but not by that much. ill probably go back to that and just leave it til they break or something, but definitely looking into moving on to something else, looking trough their terms and condition seems like i just took a loss on them.

i feel it. the fact that these are plug n play is so convenient but if it doesn’t work out then i hope i can get a refund and then go with the new blacked out led headlight toyota offers now

another thing is that they don’t sell the leveling motors so if the reason they don’t work right is because of bad handling by us then we’re screwed. i don’t see why we can’t get a refund for faulty lighting though. they have an IG post showing the output from a tundra and they don’t look anything like what mine is showing

Yea I’m pretty sure I’m screwed on my end for it but I’ve accepted the loss already. I’ll probably get in on the group buy for the Morimoto headlights or get a set of the new pro led headlights later on.

They might have sent you a set of the old versions which had big issues with output, the ones on the IG post are the new version which look more like the output on mines

Pretty well documented these headlights are absolute junk. A quick search on here could have given you all the information you need before you wasted money on them.

I sold my alpha headlights immediately after I received them. I don’t know if they have ever improved the light output but they were horrible from the initial release. I hope you can get your money back OP.

Yea all the reviews on their first version mentioned issues, even alpha owls mentioned them but there was really nothing on their 2nd revision so took the risk here, oh well live and learn and out a few hundred bucks... happens to everyone once in a while
