I installed led reverse lights and when I put the car in reverse to check them it worked and then installed the other and I believe a fuse was blown because reverse lights don't work as well as the backup camera. Can anyone help me figure out which fuse was blown...

there are 2 fuse boxes one in the floor beside driver feet and in the engine. just trying to find out which fuse it is or do I have to check everyone until I find a blown one?

LED bulbs can be put in backwards, did you try flipping them around in the socket?

yes I flipped it then it flashed like it was the right way then both went out...I already had one installed. then also the backup camera stopped working and the PRND dash as well. im guessing it was a fuse that was blown but wanting to know which fuse it was so I can replace it

That's odd, I didn't have any trouble doing LEDs and I didn't disconnect the battery. Like mentioned above, they do have to go a certain way, so flip them if they dont work. Not sure why your backup camera wouldn't be working though. Maybe it did burn a fuse. Should have a diagram in the manual, and on underneath of the case near the engine. Just pull each one until you find it.

I installed all my interior lights, cargo lights and license plate lights with no issue, when I did the reverse lights it gave me a problem and I think it blew a fuse but idk which one. sounds like I need to check for possible ones that could have blown but just trying to find out if it happened to anyone else or if anyone would know which ones to check because theres a bunch.

There is a fuse diagram underneath the lid of each fusebox.

I saw that but there are none listed for any of those options. I saw one that said BK/UP...would that be it?

Take the lid off the box directly in front of the battery, they have a diagram that tells you which one it is.

If it's not in there, try BKUP/LP BKUP/tow or tail fuses in the cab fuse box.

I have a 2nd gen so I'm not sure if it's different or not in the 3rd gen setup. I don't see why it would be, but then again I'm not an electricial engineer LOL

No problem Abe. If that isn't the case, I'm sure there are plenty of guys on here that can offer some insight or a solution.
