I’m having issues installing Brishine interior led lights from Amazon. I was able to remove the dome lights but can’t get the led lights in. So I tried to put the original bulbs back in and can’t get them back in. What an i doing wrong? Tried following others from YouTube that makes it look easy but not working out for me.

    Pls help….

Make sure the bulbs are oriented the correct way for the socket. Look at the base of the bulb. It has to go into the socket correctly otherwise you are pushing the bulb base against the socket prongs.

Hi there, WELCOME!! I replaced mine a while ago, glad I did! Make sure the replacement bulbs are the same length... This the shape of my dome bulb...

The springs that hold this type of bulb are VERY tight in my truck... I really had to apply a bit O pressure to snap them in! Just don't over do it... ouch! I ended up taking a stout needle nose pliers, bent them a bit more open, The bulb now goes in easier, but is still snugly clamped in place!

I dont know if it was just cheap ebay and Amazon bulbs but it has been a headache. Some have lasted others have been through several. The led components are just cheap Chinese parts and dont last. I almost regret switching. I do like the color change from incandescent to white led. It has been almost 5 yrs since my swap.

The 'sockets' for the bulb are very delicate.
It doesn't take much to bend them to where the bulb won't stay in.

The front console is held in with 4 screws.
One may have to take it down and bend the contacts back into shape.
Whatever you do, DO NOT REMOVE THE FRONT REFLECTORS.
You'll never get them back in correctly..

The rear dome light just pulls down from the rear..
That reflector will pop in and out.
