    I have a 2017 CM Limited with remote start is there any way to bypass the engine stopping when opening the doors?

    As far as I know.. No.

    Only way is to get an aftermarket.

    A good feature poorly executed. My guess is that Toyota thinks it's some kind of liabilty issue.

    Check out the Evo One; uses factory remote and doesn't engine doesn't stop when door is opened.

    I was told the same when I took my tundra to the dealer Friday, WTH I said, my previous vehicle would switch over once key was placed in the ignition switch.

    Yep, don't know what toyota was thinking when they put that in
