    Taxed to death in this corrupt state. Paying off teacher pensions they cant afford, state tax increase of 30%. Wtf! I thought New Mexico corruption was bad. O' yeah. Lets talk about our state/county gun control helping our homicide rate in Chicago.

    Grew up in Illinois near Chicago, move to Pa, Va , Ga and settled in Texas....No state tax it's great you should consider. There are 6 no state tax states TX, WY, TN, AK, WA, NV. The one that is most like what your used to in IL is TX.

    I actually like IN. Reminds me of CO when I first moved here. Nice houses at great prices. But not sure my wife could survive the winters there; neither could I. But in the other months, I really liked going to Indy.

    I live in NY. It sucks. My company offered me a transfer to Dallas TX 4 years ago. We decided not to do it because all of our family is here and our parents are getting older. Don't regret our decisions, but we are very aware of how sucky it is here.
