On some forums I've seen an "Ignore thread" or even "ignore subforums" action implemented. So if I didn't want to see any hunting threads in my "new posts", they wouldn't show up at all.

Is this an option here? I haven't seen it so assume not.

A quick test shows that ignoring the OP of a given thread, makes the thread disappear, so I guess that is a temporary work around.

Don't think it's an option on here

How about you just don't click on the thread? Keep scrolling past the threads you don't want to see.

Ignoring the OP works pretty much the same as ignoring the thread

I tried to ignore and not get sucked in......but I have no will power so kept clicking and taking the bait.

Only other way I know to get a thread out of your feed is to get it locked. :D

    All good.

It has now vanished from my feed. And it will be easy to ignore future threads that are similar.

Yes, it works. Now I don't even have to see the title though.

I just thought I would ask, as it is available on other forums. What it does is filter out say all "food", "hunting" or "Colorado" threads if you didn't want to see them.

It's not an option here though, no worries. At least I didn't post it in General Tundra Discussion. :D

    That's all

Maybe someone can get this one locked down before it spirals out of control. :anonymous:
