    Too many, but not enough....
I was able to get a free charger from ICS for my dash mount setup, which is a nice bonus since I was not planning on paying 30 bucks for it. Problem is, I am not sure how I want to wire it. Their website says just tap into the 12v plug, but I have heard that it is not the best idea to do it that way.

What are people with this setup doing? Can I tap into the existing USB charger ports or should I stick with the 12v?

Does the 12v stay on all the time like in ford's? Do I have to worry about battery drain?
